The BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance top-up completes an honours degree for holders of a Level 5 diploma in accounting and finance. Core modules are financial strategy, management accounting for performance evaluation and a 40-credit independent study; you then choose from contemporary reporting issues, financial reporting, financial statement analysis and investing and financial market behaviour.
Derby's academic year runs as three 10-week trimesters. Around 20 hours a week completes one 20-credit module per trimester; the accelerated plan takes two.
