Course overview
The LLB (Hons) Law top-up is the final 120 credits of the University of Law's Bachelor of Laws, open to holders of a Level 5 diploma in law. It is practice-focused: two semesters cover international commercial law, mental health and mental capacity law, equity and trusts, EU law, legal technology, intellectual property, law and society and land law.
Assessment is varied — coursework, portfolios and oral presentations — to meet the learning outcomes of each module.

Entry requirements
- Qualifi Level 5 Extended Diploma in Law, or Qualifi Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Law.
- Applicants without a Level 5 diploma but with significant legal experience are offered an alternative accelerated pathway, case by case.
Progression
Progress to the LLM (Top-Up) after a Level 7 diploma in international business law.
